EDUCATION AND OUTREACH WORK

Caitlin has directed workshops for playwriting groups including Peckham Young Writers with the Royal Court “Theatre Local” program and Rose Theatre Kingston’s writer’s program. The former was a six week course for children aged 8-12 writing their first play, then performed with professional actors. Caitlin also gave single-day workshops for schools on each show at the Royal Court during her year as Trainee Director. Her production of And I And Silence at the Finborough Theatre was created in association with Clean Break and was performed for ex-inmates before it opened, followed by discussions and talk-backs. In 2009, Caitlin worked with the Alrowaad Children’s Theatre Company in the Aida Refugee Camp, Bethlehem.

Caitlin is an Artistic Associate with HighTide Theatre Company and is currently part of the Old Vic 12.
She was TRAINEE DIRECTOR at the Royal Court Theatre from September 2011-12
